About Me

I joined Texas A&M in 2008 after earning my Ph.D. in Statistics from Duke University. I received my bachelor of science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Peking University in 2004.

My research interests include the development of theory, methodology and computation for spatial statistics, graph and network data analysis, Bayesian nonparametrics, machine learning methods, computational statistics, high dimensional data analysis and extreme values. My interdisciplinary research work includes applications of statistics in environmental sciences, geosciences, urban and traffic planning, economics and business, biomedical researches, chemometrics, and electrical/manufacturing/petroleum engineering.
